Joblant (hereinafter referred to as "Joblant") is a proprietary brand owned and operated by Conseccomms Technologies LLP (hereinafter referred to as "Conseccomms" or "the Company"), a limited liability partnership duly incorporated and validly existing under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, bearing LLP Identification Number AAK-7909, having its registered office at Sane Guruji Nagar, Chopda, Jalgaon, Maharashtra – 425107, India.

Conseccomms values the privacy of its Users and is committed to protecting their personal data in compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (SPDI Rules), as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for Users located in the European Union.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Joblant collects, uses, processes, shares, stores, and safeguards User information. By registering, accessing, or using Joblant, the User consents to the practices described herein.

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

1.1 This Policy applies to all individuals who:

  • Visit Joblant's website or mobile applications,
  • Register for a Joblant account,
  • Use Joblant's subscription services, including Expert Review Add-Ons,
  • Participate in promotional activities or referral programs, or
  • Interact with Joblant through customer support.

1.2 This Policy does not extend to third-party websites or services that may be linked from Joblant. Users are encouraged to review the privacy practices of such external platforms separately.

2. DEFINITIONS

For purposes of this Policy:

  • 2.1 "Personal Data" means information that identifies or can reasonably identify an individual, such as name, email, phone number, or LinkedIn profile.
  • 2.2 "Sensitive Personal Data" means financial data, passwords, or other information defined under the SPDI Rules.
  • 2.3 "Non-Personal Data" means aggregated, anonymized, or statistical data that cannot reasonably identify a User.
  • 2.4 "Cookies" means small text files and similar technologies used to store User preferences or track interactions.
  • 2.5 "Third-Party Services" means external providers integrated with Joblant, such as payment gateways, analytics tools, and cloud hosting providers.

3. CATEGORIES OF DATA COLLECTED

Conseccomms may collect the following categories of data:

3.1 Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

  • Full name, gender, date of birth (if provided),
  • Email address, phone number, and LinkedIn URL(s),
  • Billing details for payment verification,
  • Limited payment metadata (processed via gateways; Conseccomms does not store CVV or PIN).

3.2 Career and Employment Data

  • Uploaded resumes and cover letters,
  • Employment history, education, certifications, and skills,
  • Career objectives, achievements, and job preferences.

3.3 Technical and Usage Data

  • IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, approximate geolocation,
  • Session logs, clickstream data, resume generation counts, download activity,
  • Error diagnostics, crash reports, and performance data.

3.4 Cookies and Tracking Data

Collected as detailed in Section 8 of this Policy.

4. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

User data is collected and processed for lawful purposes, including:

  • (a) Service Delivery – To generate resumes, optimize LinkedIn profiles, and deliver Expert Review services.
  • (b) Subscription Management – To process payments, manage renewals, and apply referral credits.
  • (c) Account Authentication – To provide secure login and fraud prevention.
  • (d) Customer Communication – To send confirmations, subscription updates, alerts, and promotional offers (where consented).
  • (e) Analytics and Product Improvement – To track usage trends and improve AI models, templates, and user experience.
  • (f) Compliance Obligations – To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
  • (g) Security and Fraud Detection – To prevent abuse of referral programs, detect suspicious activity, and safeguard systems.

5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

For Users in India, data is processed under the IT Act and SPDI Rules.

For Users in the EU or similar jurisdictions, processing shall be based on:

  • Contractual Necessity – Delivering subscribed services.
  • Consent – Marketing communications, cookies, and optional services.
  • Legitimate Interests – Service security, analytics, and fraud prevention.
  • Legal Obligations – Compliance with tax and regulatory laws.

6. DATA SHARING & DISCLOSURE

6.1 Conseccomms does not sell or rent User data for commercial gain.

6.2 Data may be shared only with:

  • Payment Processors – Razorpay, PayU, UPI gateways, etc., for secure transactions.
  • Hosting Providers – Google Cloud, Render, or similar, for platform infrastructure.
  • Expert Reviewers – For resumes submitted under Add-On services (limited access).
  • Analytics Providers – Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, for measuring engagement.
  • Regulatory Authorities – If legally required under Indian or foreign law.

6.3 All third parties are contractually required to apply reasonable data protection standards.

7. DATA RETENTION

  • 7.1 Active Users – Data retained for the duration of subscription.
  • 7.2 Cancelled Accounts – Data deleted or anonymized within 90 days of cancellation, unless required for legal compliance.
  • 7.3 Financial Records – Payment and tax records retained for up to eight (8) years in accordance with Indian tax laws.
  • 7.4 Anonymized Data – Aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely.

8. COOKIES & TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

8.1 Definition

Cookies are small text files or equivalent technologies (pixels, beacons, local storage) used to identify devices, store preferences, and track interactions.

8.2 Categories of Cookies

  • (a) Strictly Necessary Cookies – Enable secure login, OTP verification, and subscription management. Cannot be disabled.
  • (b) Performance & Analytics Cookies – Collect anonymized statistics about how Users interact with Joblant. Example: Google Analytics cookies.
  • (c) Preference Cookies – Save User-selected resume templates, themes, or language preferences.
  • (d) Marketing & Targeting Cookies – Track browsing behavior to deliver relevant ads. Example: LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel.
  • (e) Third-Party Cookies – Set by payment gateways, social login providers, or analytics partners. Conseccomms does not control these cookies.

8.3 Consent & Opt-Out

Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are deployed only after User consent (via banner or settings). Users can disable cookies through browser settings or install opt-out tools (e.g., Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on).

8.4 Retention of Cookies

  • Session cookies expire when the browser is closed.
  • Persistent cookies may remain for 30–365 days unless manually cleared.

9. SECURITY MEASURES

9.1 Conseccomms employs industry-standard security including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption,
  • Data-at-rest encryption,
  • Firewalls and intrusion detection systems,
  • Periodic penetration testing and audits.

9.2 Access to personal data is restricted to authorized staff and Expert Reviewers under confidentiality obligations.

9.3 Users acknowledge that no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

10.1 Data may be stored or processed in India or other jurisdictions where service providers operate.

10.2 For EU Users, cross-border transfers will rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.

11. USER RIGHTS

Users have the following rights, subject to applicable law:

  • Access – Obtain a copy of their data.
  • Rectification – Correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure – Request deletion of personal data.
  • Restriction – Limit processing of certain data.
  • Portability – Receive their resume/profile data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw Consent – Opt out of marketing or cookies at any time.

12. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

  • 12.1 Conseccomms shall appoint a Grievance Officer in compliance with Indian IT Rules.
  • 12.2 Complaints may be addressed to support@joblant.com.
  • 12.3 Complaints will be acknowledged within 7 working days and resolved within 30 days.

13. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

  • 13.1 Conseccomms reserves the right to update this Policy periodically.
  • 13.2 Updated versions shall be posted on Joblant's website and become effective immediately unless otherwise stated.
  • 13.3 Continued use of Joblant after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
